A Winthrop Mangrove is a rhino-like monster that lives in Monster Isle. It is purple with 1 horn and has jagged teeth. He has brown spikes and a Flytrap tail.
Baby Mangroves like Fredrick are white in colour with a bushy lion tail. The tail tip appears to be the bulb of the Flytrap tail. Baby Mangroves also bark like dogs.
It appears in "Escape from Monster Island".
The adult Winthrop Mangrove was the Mayor's trusty steed.
This species shares its name with a real estate agent from the original series episode "Monstra-City".
