Trading Faces is the second half of the forty-first episode of Powerpuff Girls Z. It first aired on Cartoon Network Japan on April 14, 2007.

Synopsis[]

An altercation with Fuzzy Lumpkins ends with the Powerpuff Girls to switch bodies and minds; Blossom is inside Buttercup's body, Bubbles is in Blossom's body, and Buttercup is in Bubbles' body.

Plot[]

As the bell rings out, the girls are seen walking home from school, ready to enjoy the weekend. However, as Blossom is discussing her plans to watch a Galactic Man marathon on Sunday, her little sister, Kasey, runs by them, inadvertently flip-skirting both Blossom and Bubbles. Kasey then taunts Blossom with her promise to play with her action figures before running off back home. The girls then begin discussing what it would be like if they traded lifestyles, only for Ken and Poochi to contact them at that very moment, telling them to transform.

The girls then head to the mountains, where an enraged Fuzzy Lumpkins is attacking a man inside a truck, demanding he stay off his property. When the girls arrive, Fuzzy tells them that the driver has been dumping various objects into the forest below them. After the driver is scolded by the girls for his carelessness, Fuzzy turns on them and violently slams each of their heads, sending them flying around the planet.

After coming back to Japan, the girls slam their heads against each other before falling to the ground. Upon regaining their composure, the girls are horrified to discover that they have traded bodies; Blossom is inside Buttercup's body, Bubbles is in Blossom's body, and Buttercup is in Bubbles' body.

Returning to the Professor's observatory, the girls reveal their condition to a baffled and bewildered Professor, Ken, and Poochi. At the end of the day, the girls have no choice but to return home as they are, meaning spending the night at each other's homes, which also means that for a day the will get to enjoy the lifestyles they always wanted.

At Buttercup's apartment, the boy-crazed Blossom at first has a great time observing Buttercup's father and older brother, whom she is fascinated with, although she is unimpressed with the younger brother until she grows embarrassed over the men walking around in their underwear after bathing and it's too much for her to put up with them constantly forcing their "sister" to wrestle with them since Blossom is not used to that.

At Blossom's home, Bubbles is at first happy with the idea of having a little sister and finds Kasey to be cute and is very nice towards her, letting Kasey do what she wants, brushing her hair during bed time, although she gets no gratitude from Kasey and instead she asks "Blossom" to have a slumber party, only for Kasey to use that as an excuse to kick and jump on "her sister" all night, making Bubbles realize that having a younger sister isn't all fun and games.

At Bubbles's home, Buttercup is marveled with Bubbles' large, traditional house, and is overjoyed since she can eat whatever she wants without her siblings stealing food from her plate and having a big bedroom until Bubbles' old fashioned grandmother reprimands her for her rough and tumble behavior, as well as making her clean the entire house all by herself, much to her chagrin.

The next day, the girls have no choice but to go back to Fuzzy and provoke him into beating them again so that they go back to their respective bodies. Fuzzy does just that and the girls once again switch bodies...only to once again end up in the wrong bodies (Buttercup in Blossom's, Bubbles in Buttercup's and Blossom in Bubbles'), which upsets them since they now have to make Fuzzy beat them up one last time.
