The Townsville Jail or Townsville Prison is a correctional facility in Townsville. It is where all the villains are imprisoned, after being arrested by the cops or beaten up by the Powerpuff Girls.
History[]
In "Fuzzy Logic", Fuzzy Lumpkins goes to jail for causing assault and battery around Townsville.
In "Mime for a Change", Rainbow the Clown is sent to jail most likely for draining Townsville's color as his evil alter-ego, Mr. Mime.
In "The Rowdyruff Boys", Mojo Jojo was in prison and needed to create a weapon for destroying the girls, so he made male counterparts of them using snips, snails, and puppy-dog tails. He got the snips from cutting the armpit hairs off of a prisoner, the snails from the prison food, and the puppy-dog tail, he yanked off of a prison guard dog. He also used the toxic chemicals from the uncleaned toilet as Chemical X, which made the Rowdyruff Boys: Brick, Boomer, and Butch.
In "Birthday Bash", Mojo, Princess, and the Amoeba Boys watch the Powerpuff Girls' birthday celebration from the TV in the prison cafeteria. They observe as the deadly presents they sent to the Girls are put into action.
In "A Very Special Blossom", Blossom is sent to jail for stealing.
In "Just Desserts", Harold Smith was bailed out of prison after being arrested in "Supper Villain". At the end of the episode, he is sent back to prison, this time along with the rest of his family.
In "Candy is Dandy", the Girls beat Mojo Jojo and send him to jail repeatedly to get candy from The Mayor. Toward the end of the episode, they encounter him in jail and beat him senselessly, despite the fact that he is already imprisoned.
In "West in Pieces", Mojo Jojo's Western version, "Mojo the Kid", was sent to a Western counterpart of Jail.
In "The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!!", Mojo Jojo is sent to prison once again, and he sings a song about how he wishes he could defeat The Powerpuff Girls and rule all of the world. He once again breaks out of prison, to obtain the recently arrived Key to the World.
In "The Wrinklegruff Gals", it is said that it is located next to Midway, as told by the Professor. The Girls had mistook that they were going to work in jail, but they were going to Midway.
In "Bye Bye, Bellum", Bianca Bikini escapes from the Townsville Jail and later releases her sister Barbarus using her privileges after becoming the mayor's new secretary. However, both are sent back after being defeated by the girls and the mayor. In this episode it is shown that the jail is on an island several miles from the city and that the security systems can be managed from the city hall control room.
In "Tiara Trouble", Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins and the The Gangreen Gang are in a cell watching the commercial about Townsville Beauty, Talent, And All-'Round, All-Inclusive Flair Pageant. Then they escape to participate in the contest.
