Tom Kane

Thomas Kane Roberts (born April 15, 1962), better known as Tom Kane, is the voice of Professor Utonium, HIM, Talking Dog, and many other characters in the original The Powerpuff Girls. He reprises his role in the 2016 reboot series The Powerpuff Girls.

On December 30, 2020, it was reported that Kane suffered a stroke in November which left him with right-sided weakness and damage to his speech, writing, and reading capabilities. Due to this, he had to retire from voice acting.

In September 2021, his daughter posted on Facebook that he had decided to take early retirement due to him suffering long-term apraxia (difficulty in being able to smoothly transition syllables) as a result of the stroke.

• He also voices another Craig McCracken animated series as Mr. Herriman on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
• He does the Morgan Freeman impressions from the Robot Chicken episode.
• Kane has also played on the Nickelodeon show The Angry Beavers, playing as Oxnard Montalvo.
• Kane also has been the voice double for Frank Oz as Yoda for the Star Wars media. Also voiced Wullf Yularen, & the narrator in the Clone Wars TV Series.,
