Trivia[]
- This show is a parody on Soupy Sales, a 1950's children's TV show, infamous for an episode, where they scammed children into taking money from their parents and sending it to the show's address. The creator of the show claimed that when they scammed the kids, it was only a joke, not meant to be taken seriously, but he didn't account for how impressionable his young audience was. As such, he made a rough estimate of $60,000 off of the stunt, and got in lots of trouble with his superiors.
