The Rowdyruff Boys is the twentieth episode of Powerpuff Girls Z. It aired on Cartoon Network Japan on November 11th, 2006.
Synopsis[]
Mojo Jojo steals Chemical Z from Professor Utonium's lab and uses the girl's DNA, (along with his own) and the Chemical Z to create The Rowdyruff Boys.
Plot[]
At the Professor's lab during nighttime, Mojo Jojo sneaks inside and steals the Chemical Z. He also steals Blossom's straw, Bubbles' cotton swabs, and Buttercup's sock. He leaves the scene and heads back into his hideout.
Mojo Jojo then prepares to create the greatest creation yet. He inserts Blossom's straw, Bubbles' cotton swab, and Buttercup's sock. He also adds nose hair in the machine. Unfortunately, the machine blows up, waking up Blossom for a moment until she later returns to her sleep. When Mojo regains his consciousness, he sees three boys and realizes his experiment worked. The boy's names themselves Brick, Boomer, and Butch. They mess with him for a while and the boys have given themselves their team name: The Rowdyruff Boys.
Meanwhile, at the Professor's Lab, Professor Utonium, Poochi, and Ken suspect the missing Chemical Z. To make matters worse, Blossom berates Professor Utonium and Ken for not waking up and noticing the aftermath. The Girls also suspect the missing things, and by the time when the school bell rings, the girls must head to school.
Back at Mojo's Hideout, things are not looking well for Mojo. Even the Boys with their fingers in their noses are not cool at all. Later, The Rowdyruff Boys realize they haven't eaten yet and they tell Mojo to find them food or else they will eat Mojo instead. This trigger's Mojo's anger and the Boys leave the scene. Mojo tries to chase after them but when the boys cause mayhem around every corner (such as throwing litter from a garbage truck, throwing live frogs, worms, and lizards on everyone's food at the restaurant, and using a hose to rain on everyone), the citizens of New Townsville pin the blame on Mojo and beat him up, thinking that it was his doing.
In the Professor's Lab. Professor Utonium and Ken suspect Black Z Ray activity and they use Poochi to signal the girls who are in school. Inside, Ms. Keane is teaching her students another lecture until the girls' power belts start flashing. The girls once again make up an excuse, saying that they have infections, and Ms. Keane tells the girls to the Nurse's Office. They leave the scene and the girls transformed into their PPGZ outfits.
As soon as they search for mayhem in New Townsville.

- This episode has the same title as the 1998 series episode, where in that show's version of The Rowdyruff Boys was also introduced.
- This is the only Powerpuff Girls Z episode that has major censorship.
- This is the first 22-minute long episode.
- The part where the boys are peeing from a roof on to the people below is replaced with the boys spraying a water hose in the international dubs.
- The part where the boys flip the Girls' skirts added a white transition effect in international dubs.
- Oddly, the girls' reactions aren't edited out.
- The part where the boys moon the girls changes into the boys mooning with their pants on, and a fart sound effect being added in the international dubs. The Korean dub uses international censorship but adds a "gas cloud" when the boys show their butts.
