Roach Coach is a villain in the animated television series, The Powerpuff Girls. He is actually a robot controlled by a cockroach, he appeared in the first episode "Insect Inside" where he took over the town the next day, with a whole army of cockroaches. When he saw the giant jar that his cockroach army was imprisoned in, he became so enraged that he blew his red whistle. He later let them crawl over his body to create one giant cockroach. Strangely enough, the girls were able to defeat the cockroach monster despite it being bigger than they are. He also has a cockroach cadet named Skippy. The way he controls a whole army of cockroaches is similar to Dr. Blowhole's army of lobsters. Because of this, he is possibly an inspiration for Dr. Blowhole from Nickelodeon and DreamWorks' The Penguins of Madagascar. He also used a red whistle twice that calls out the cockroaches and when he blows on it, the sound can be barely heard.
The Roach Coach later made a small cameo appearance in The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!!, as one of the many villains looking for the Key to the World.
- When he said, "Come to papa," it may have been a reference to rock band Papa Roach.
- A "Roach Coach" is slang for a food service cart or food service truck (presumably one with poor upkeep/hygiene). These are also known as "Street Meat" trucks.
- Even though he only plays a role in one episode, he is visible in the beginning theme and he is mentioned in the full version of the ending theme.
- He is the only character on the bumper of Cartoon Network's "Powerhouse" era that appeared outside the Three Girls.
