Quarantine

Quarantine is the fourteenth episode (and the ninety-third episode overall) of Season 3 of the 2016 Powerpuff Girls series. It aired on Cartoon Network on August 19, 2018.

Synopsis[]

The girls and the professor are transporting a dangerous chemical to safely contain in their lab when Mojo attacks. In the ensuing fight, the chemical is exposed and knocks out everyone. When the girls and Mojo come to, they find themselves in a solitary room with the Professor explaining it's for their safety as the chemical can turn anyone into a monster. As he tries to figure out if they're infected or not and work on an antidote, the four start to become crazy.

The plot of this episode is similar to "Not So Secret Service".
On the title screen, Buttercup is shown with her 1998 counterpart's hairstyle in the silhouette.
Running gag: Bubbles wanting to rip Mojo's nose off, while the Girls and Mojo starts making false accusations and started beating each other.
It's actually unknown how or why the Professor became a Porcuswine since he was wearing a hazmat suit and was not affected by the chemical explosion. Not to mention that he was also in his car and pretty far away when the explosion happened.
The board game Blossom is holding called "The Settlers of Mashmire" is a parody of The Settlers of Catan.
