- The song's rhythm and instrumentals are very similar to the 2002 song Work It by Missy Elliot.
- The music video uses live-action backgrounds, a technique used on the Disney XD series Pickle & Peanut.
- A blue version of the Lava Lady is seen dancing at the beginning of the song.
- During the verse “with mad flow”, in the original release of Once Upon a Townsville, Bubbles wears prostitute attire, holding a cigarette. However, the outfit was recoloured and cigarette was later removed in web video releases and in other parts of the world.
