(The episode opens at New Townsville. In their lab, Professor Utonium and his son Ken are studying up.)
Professor: We have to keep working. We need to find out as much as we can about Z Rays.
Ken: I don't know, Dad. I don't think the girls are too worried. 'Cause after all, it was the Z Rays that gave each of them their superpowers.
Professor: Here we go.
Ken: Right.
(The Professor presses a button, which causes an explosion on him and Ken, both with wide-eyed expressions.)
Mayor of New Townsville: Professor Utonium, come in! Are you there?
Professor: Oh. Mr. Mayor! Yes, we're here.
Mayor of New Townsville: It's terrible, Professor. Look!
(The TV screen shows Mojo Jojo invading the kindergarten school. The kindergarteners and their teacher are terrified.)
Mayor: This sounds like a job for the Powerpuff Girls!
Ken: Poochi.
Poochi: Poochi to Powerpuffs! Poochi to Powerpuffs! We need you...!
(The camera zooms out as Poochis calls out the girls. The next shot is inside the classroom at the girls' school.)
Teacher: So, the coefficient of the third variable as we apply to the graphic notation of the waves...
(As he continues, the girls' belts start blinking one by one.)
Blossom: Huh?
Bubbles: Huh?
Buttercup: Oh!
(Buttercup turns to Blossom and Bubbles, giving them her signal.)
Bubbles & Blossom: Uh, teacher?
Buttercup: Yo, teach!
(The teacher hears them.)
Girls: We have a stomachache. We're going to the nurse's office. Be back as soon as we can! (They leave)
Teacher: Hmm... And so the hypotenuse leads to the equation Y...
(The three girls run upstairs and all the way up to the rooftop. They start their transformation sequence. First, their rings appear on their fingers. Then, they take out their compacts,
The girls insert their compacts onto their belts, with each having their own theme - Blossom with hearts, Bubbles with bubbles, and Buttercup with stars. They change clothes and make their jackets appear. As they say their names, their skirts appear, including their fingerless gloves, heart logos on the back of their jackets, and boots.)
Blossom: Hyper Blossom!
Bubbles: Rolling Bubbles!
Buttercup: Powered Buttercup!
(Their transformation ends with them striking poses.)
Powerpuff Girls Z: Powerpuff Girls Z!
(Blossom takes off her compact and opens it up.)
Blossom: So what do think it is today?
(Blossom's compact shows Mojo JoJo kidnapping kids.)
Girls: Mojo!
Blossom: He's at a kindergarten!
Bubbles: But why?
Buttercup: Who cares? Let's go!
(The girls fly around New Townsville, and a talking fish appears.)
Fish: Go get em, Girls!
