A box of Lucky Captain Rabbit King Nuggets
Lucky Captain Rabbit King Nuggets is the favorite breakfast cereal of The Powerpuff Girls in the 1998 series. Made by the Generally Food Cereal Company, the cereal is described in its commercials as being "full of nourishing corn crisp castles and ships, delicious tuna, ruby and sea star marshmallow bits." It has a cartoon mascot, Lucky Captain Rabbit King, who's an "Irish seafaring noble" anthropomorphic rabbit.
Its only appearance was in the episode "Jewel of the Aisle", which revolves entirely around this cereal (or more specifically, a robber attempting to retrieve a diamond he had hidden in a box of the cereal, which Professor Utonium ended up buying for the Powerpuff Girls).
Lore[]
In the commercial seen in "Jewel of the Aisle", Lucky Captain Rabbit King desires only to have a single, elusive bowl of his very own Lucky Captain Rabbit King Nuggets. However, "as we all know, Lucky Captain Rabbit King Nuggets are for the Youth!" As is in accordance with the prophecy, Lucky Captain Rabbit King's attempts to trick children into giving him the cereal always result in failures full of hilarious gags and capers.
The robber's attempts to get the diamond back after Professor Utonium buys it at Malph's directly mirror the commercial's plot, with him disguising in a costume of Lucky Captain Rabbit King and getting into a number of mishaps in breaking into the Utonium Residence, only to completely forget the diamond once he successfully convinces the Powerpuff Girls to give him the cereal box, taking off his mask and eating cereal from the box until he accidentally swallows the diamond and he's subsequently beaten up by the girls and arrested.
