Largo is the ninth episode (and the eighty-eighth episode overall) of Season 3 of the 2016 Powerpuff Girls series. It aired on Cartoon Network on June 9, 2018.
Synopsis[]
All citizens of Townsville suddenly become severely depressed and sad after a suspicious raincloud appears, except for the Powerpuff Girls. But since two of the girls are busy with arguing, Bubbles' gonna save the day after discovering the source of the sad-making raincloud and its grumpy owner.
Plot[]
A mysterious rain cloud causes everyone in Townsville to be depressed. While the girls are immune to the effects, Blossom and Buttercup are arguing with each other, forcing Bubbles to trace the source on her own. Beyond the rain clouds, she discovers a parallel world dominated by a village at the edge of a vast, deep and dark forest. In the forest, Bubbles meets a grumpy and sour-mooded bear named Largo, who seems very depressed and unmotivated. After a proper introduction, Largo tells Bubbles, what is going on: once a time ago, he and Allegro were originally one single entity named Cosmic Bear. But one day, when fetching his mails and letters, a thunderstorm surprised Cosmic Bear and a lightning strike split him into Allegro and Largo. Both initially tried to live together in Cosmic Bear's house, but it immediately failed: Allegro wanted to party 24/7 nonstop, while Largo insisted on quiteness and solitude. Ticked off, Allegro left the house and turned Townsville into one big discotheque. His rainbow made everyone act childish, unreasonable and reckless, causing chaos and vandalism in the process. Largo's raincloud instead makes everyone sad and depressed now.
Bubbles eventually gets an idea: she invites Largo, Allegro, Blossom and Buttercup to a teaparty at Professor Utonium's garden. When Allegro appears, he immediately refuses to share one dinner table with the "sad sack" (Largo). Blossom and Buttercup start bitching at each other after Blossom corrected Bubble's made-up spelling of the teaparty's theme. Bubble quiets everyone and goes to the kitchen for fetching (imaginary) cookies. When she returns, she is speechless in shock seeing everyone locked in a brawl. Ticked off, Bubbles forces everyone into hugging and forgiving each other. This results in Allegro and Largo transform back into Cosmic Bear again, who thanks Bubbles, turns everything back to normal and then just leaves.

- This episode marks Allegro's final appearance in the reboot.
- Both this episode and "Painbow" shared a similar premise:
- In this episode, the people of Townsville got affected by a rain cloud by feeling unhappy.
- In "Painbow", a mysterious rainbow to make the Townsville citizens unusually happy.
- The Girls once again were unaffected by this mysterious rain, the same thing happened with the mysterious rainbow in this aforementioned episode.
- Allegro twerks twice in this episode, making it the last two times he did it before merging with Largo to reform into Cosmic Bear.
- This marks the final time Blossom and Buttercup are physically fighting in the series, and the first time in the reboot where they fight in the first place, other times being in Octi Evil, Powerpuff Bluff, and The Powerpuff Girls Movie".

- Toy Story 3 - Cosmic Bear's appearance vaguely resembles Lots-O-Huggin' Bear, himself being a parody of a Care Bear. However, Cosmic Bear is much more of a true Care Bear than Lotso ever was at heart.
- Lego Movie (and Uni-Kitty spin-off) - Upon splitting from his half-Largo, Allegro happens to share some similarities as Uni-Kitty, such as their angry forms.
