Ken's mother has worked as an astronaut since before the series began, with her absence having a strong influence on Ken Utonium as shown in her main two episodes.

Ken's mother is a tall woman with grey hair and blue eyes. Her typical attire consists of a pale yellow dress with golden shoulderpads and long purple sleeves. Her space suit is white with pink highlights and a golden visor.
