Mr. Jack Wednesday is a minor character who appears in the episode "Schoolhouse Rocked". In the episode, he meets the Gangreen Gang in an arcade, and subsequently puts them in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten so they can go to school, in the process putting them in an environment in which they could take advantage of their new classmates.
Mr. Wednesday shows up again at the end of the episode during a dodgeball fight, insulting Ms. Keane and what he interprets as her teaching style, which leads to him getting hit in the face by a dogeball.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Mr. Wednesday’s face is quite angular, as he has a triangular nose, trapezoidal ears, and a prominent, pointed chin. His lower lip clearly juts in front of his upper lip.
Mr. Wednesday wears a brown, angular fedora hat with a darker brown stripe. He wears a white shirt with a tan coat and a red tie over it. He has brown pants with a black belt.
Personality[]
Mr. Wednesday takes his job seriously, to an exaggerated extent. He holds high standards for what others should know, while being clearly incompetent himself, seeing as he opts to put teenagers in kindergarten.
While he may be able to catch kids playing hooky, he apparently just dumps them in whatever school he can; he does not bother to try contacting their parents, for instance, to find out the actual schools the Gangreen Gang went to.
Mr. Wednesday has the habit of speaking very fast without allowing anyone to get a word in. He often indirectly insults those he speaks to; specifically, he calls the Gang idiots for not knowing what a 'Truant Officer' was despite them not given a chance to respond, and also insults Ms. Keane's ability as a teacher.
Trivia[]

- Jack Wednesday is referred to on screen by name, but is only credited as Truant Officer.
