HIM's Dimension, otherwise known as the Underworld, Netherworld, Underside, Netherside, Land of Tainted Souls , Chaos Realm, Fires of Hell or Heck, is a bizarre, hellish dimension where HIM, the rest of the Dreadful Council, the Sandman, the Boogie Man and the Nightmare Monsters live. It is very enigmatic, and very little is known about how it exists, what it is, or even where it is. HIM's primary residence here is in a floating mountain, suspended in the middle of the dimension. In the background, there are clips and pictures of not only previous episodes, but also stock footage from 1940's-1970's television broadcasts, mainly featuring horror movies and televised tragedies. In the earlier seasons, it appeared to have a more simplistic look, with the background mainly being a more solid red color. It should also be noted that the apartment that is normally in the mountain was enclosed with dark red walls in the earlier episodes, while there were little to no walls in the later seasons.
