Friends in High Places

Friends in High Places is the first half of the eleventh episode of Powerpuff Girls Z. It aired on Cartoon Network Japan on September 9th, 2006.

Synopsis[]

Believing Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are planning to show off, Princess follows them to unearth their plan.

Plot[]

Princess Morbucks arrives at school, and everyone cheers her. Blossom and Bubbles are a bit concerned about the arrival of Princess Morbucks, while Buttercup comes in with a new skateboard on her feet. Buttercup tells the girls that Princess Morbucks' Maids are telling everyone that they received gifts from them and should honor her every week. Blossom and Bubbles are not amused, and Buttercup also cheers for her as well. When Princess hears Sapphire's call, she tells her that she can come to school with her, but one of her maids tells her that there are no pets allowed in the school. Princess tells her that she should bribe the principal or something, which she agrees.

Later, when Princess Morbucks' vehicle drives away, a guy in a lizard disguise appears from a pothole and yells where the girls are at. At the Professor's lab, Professor Utonium and Ken receive a message from the mayor which reveals the guy from the pothole earlier ago. Both Professor Utonium and Ken tell Poochi to signal the girls.

At school, everyone, including Princess Morbucks were in class and Princess yawns and tells herself that she should make an excuse about an A+. Then, the girls' belts start flashing and they make an excuse about pain. Then, Princess Morbucks makes an excuse about a headache and the teacher tells the girls to take Princess Morbucks to the Nurse's Office. They do so and manage to leave, only to have Princess Morbucks and her cat Sapphire to leave and follow them while the girls' gym teacher thinks that Princess is better already.

The girls attempt to transform, but Princess Morbucks and her cat Sapphire confront the girls about ditching her spotlight on the show (which probably means they will steal her act in the process). Then she tells the girls that they're gonna put on cool clothing and everyone will cheer for the girls instead, much to Buttercup's disgust. While Princess Morbucks thinks of a plan, Sapphire points the direction where the girls are heading off to. Both Princess and Sapphire chase them while Princess tells Buttercup about the skateboard she brought her earlier ago, which Buttercup tells her that it's not worth it and tosses it away onto Princess' grasp. They attempt to transform inside a science lab, but Princess Morbucks and Sapphire find them in the act. They try to transform inside the Computer Lab, only to find out that Princess (secretly) appeared with Sapphire while patting her face with cotton. They even try to transform inside a library, only to find out that Princess secretly again found the girls' attempt in the act. With no other choice, they run on top of the roof, but Princess Morbucks and Sapphire finds them while Blossom tells Princess to leave her alone, only for Princess to tell them not to get in their way. Buttercup tells the girls to ditch this joint and Princess thinks that the girls are making an escape with their dresses used as parachutes. Finally pushed too far, Princess Morbucks triggers Sapphire's tail and transforms. This shocks the girls and Princess tells them that if she can't be popular, then she will show them that there will be no school by destroying it with a meteorite. Blossom, angrily tells her that she can't control meteorites because that would be impossible. Then Princess flies off into space and summons the meteorites to crash into the school. Acting fast, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup transform into the PPGZ and attempt to stop Princess Morbucks's plan to destroy the school.

After the girls stop the meteorites from crashing the school, Princess sends a bigger one to instantly blow up an entire school block. Professor Utonium, Ken and Poochi rush to the scene. The PPGZ rescue Princess and saves the school from being demolished. As Professor Utonium, Ken and Poochi arrive in a helicopter, the PPGZ are dispatches to the guy in a pothole. As they arrive, Buttercup confronts him, but the guy asks for their autograph. After the PPGZ got their autographs signed, Professor Utonium returns Princess back to normal. Princess wakes up, not knowing what happened. In the end, Princess Morbucks is bombarded by everone's gifts.
