The Dragon Monster is a minor character in The Powerpuff Girls. It is a monster who appears in the episode "Down 'n' Dirty".

Appearance[]
The Dragon Monster is a dark green monster with light purple fur on its back and arms. It has two webbed antennae, and unevenly sized white eyes. It has large red nostrils, and a large mouth with thin red lips and pointed white teeth. Its arms' position gives it a resemblance to T. rex.
Voice[]
The Dragon Monster makes a roar similar to that of a person snoring or a pig oinking. The Dragon Monster is voiced by Frank Welker.
Biography[]
Buttercup encounters the Dragon Monster by a cliff over a large lake while fleeing from an angry mob in Townsville. The Dragon Monster rises from the water and attacks Buttercup by breathing fire. It then sucks Buttercup through its nostrils, but subsequently blows her out upon noticing her smell. The Dragon Monster outright tells Buttercup that it intends on going home due to her smell, then promptly leaves. This ends up motivating Buttercup to finally take a bath.
The Dragon Monster in Sand Hassle
The Dragon Monster reappears in the book Sand Hassle. Here, it is scaly with teal spikes on its back, and its chest is colored separately from the rest of its body (with its head colored similarly to its back). Its nostrils are smaller, its eyes are both the same size, and its antennae are more closely spaced.
