Official Synopsis[]

It's the 50th issue celebration not to be missed, as we experience the TV episode that never was! In a thrilling tale that was originally intended to be a Powerpuff Girls episode, the Girls are sucked through a dimensional portal into a world where they're the villains! It's a brave new world featuring The Powerpunk Girls, Oppressor Plutonium, and the brave, heroic monkey Jomo Momo - in "Deja View!"

Plot[]

The Powerpuff Girls go to a parallel world in which the villains and heroes are reversed. They must fight their opposite counterparts- the Powerpunk Girls.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only appearance of The Powerpunk Girls, which have become fan favorites with many fan works dedicated to them.
    • The Powerpunk's popularity is similar to The Rowdyruff Boys as they are both alternate versions of The Powerpuff Girls and have lack of appearances.
  • This was planned to be an episode of the TV series, but it never got made due to the amount of time spent on The Powerpuff Girls Movie.
  • The name is a pun on the phrase 'Dèjà Vu'.
  • The portal sucked them into Viletown, the opposite of Townsville.
  • This Powerpuff Girls comic has similar mirror universe tropes to the episodes, "Mirror, Mirror" of Star Trek: The Original Series, the episode, "Parallels" of Star Trek: The Next Generation, or Bizarro's home world from the Superman series of comic books.
