Profile[]
Personality[]
Chief Hittledee is a by-the-book lawman with a strict moral code, following the Mayor's lead and collaborates closely with him, though he ultimately answers to the law above all. He never hesitates to uphold the law, even when faced with sympathetic culprits, maintaining a stern, no‑nonsense demeanor; briefly moved to tears by Blossom's confession of stealing the golf clubs for the professer, but immediately reverts to his professional resolve.
History[]
On the greens of the Townsville Golf Course, the Mayor, who is reading the Townsville Tribune, discusses with Chief Hittledee about the mysterious disappearance of the limited‑edition Pro Excellence 2000 series golf clubs. Hittledee remarks that they went missing after Mojo Jojo's rampage on Townsville. The Mayor wonders if Mojo is behind the theft, but Chief Hittledee disagrees, stating that "little monkeys are too dumb to golf". While the Mayor and the police chief talk about having those golf clubs for a perfect game, they notice Professor Utonium with the said stolen goods. The Mayor orders Hittledee to arrest the Professor for suspicious theft.
Later, when Blossom captures Mojo Jojo and claims that he sold the golf clubs, the Mayor and Chief are convinced. But Buttercup finds the contradiction as she recalls that Blossom said she found them, she and Bubbles confront Blossom and demand her to tell the truth. Unwilling to tell the truth, Blossom refuses and attempts to escape. Nonetheless, Buttercup and Bubbles try to stop her. When they prevent Blossom from escaping for the last time, Blossom finally admits that she stole the golf clubs. Chief Hittledee, along with the Mayor and the Professor, is shocked by Blossom's confession and Blossom revealed that she only did it to make the Professor happy as he wanted the clubs.
Realizing it was his fault for putting too much value on a material object that drove Blossom to crime, the Professor tells the Mayor to go easy on Blossom and she is sorry. The Mayor lets Chief Hittledee to decide, even emphasizing that it is her first offense. Although Hittledee is saddened over Blossom's unintended crime, he strictly maintains that the law is the law. As consequence for committing grand theft, Blossom is sentenced to 200 hours of community service, underscoring the harsh reminder that crime does not pay.
