Bittercup Rises (note the completely black dress)
Bittercup is a character who appears in Not Another Buttercup, In the book, she primarily serves the role of a secondary antagonist.
History[]
Due to the nature of only appearing in a choose-your-own-adventure style book Bittercup’s history is somewhat murky. Although some details remain consistent no matter which path the reader chooses within the book.
Bittercup was created by Mojo Jojo using A small amount of sugar, lots of spice and nothing nice as well as hairs from various villains such as himself, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Princess Morbucks and the members of the Gangreen Gang.
Bittercup's actions vary in specifics from this point onward but were generally either destructive or larcenous.
Bittercup's story has three possible endings[note this order is arbitrary], in the first her powers are drained by Mojo Jojo for varying reasons resulting in her leaving Townsville. In the second she is captured by the Powerpuff Girls and her powers are drained by Professor Utonium she leaves Townsville disgruntled. In the third her yearning for fun and acceptance leads her to have her formula modified by Professor Utonium, her eyes and dress turn purple and she becomes a superhero, leaving Townsville to save the day elsewhere.
Personality[]
Bittercup's personality greatly resembles a greedier version of Buttercup's, she enjoys action yearns for independence and recognition, hating baths, having an interest in sports, etc. The text occasionally claims that she is 'evil' although her own words and actions ought to cast some doubts upon such claims.
