No, the 2016 reboot ruined it, as the producers made it canon within the original series.

Original series:
-Amazing art style
-Action and comedy balanced
-Charismatic characters
-Good bad guys etc.
2016 reboot:
-Horrible art style
-Way more comedic than the original series
-Absence of the girls' original voice actresses
-Absence of violence etc.
If you're talking about the reboot PPG's, I'll choose Buttercup.
