What Rob Sorcher says about the reboot:

"It has been wonderful to see this new show team bring such passion and positive creative spirit to this iconic property. We know that fans of every age will appreciate this new take on saving the world before bedtime."

What it feels like he says:

"It has been wonderful to see this new and better show team do their best to try and force this iconic but outdated property into oblivion and turn it into something even better. We know that fans of every age will love this new take on saving the world before bedtime for their entire lives and erase the old property from their memories so they can spend their whole lives with the new."

Fantasies that come out of the minds of the reboot writers:

- "By removing the adult humour and violence from the original series, we will make it more mature and family-oriented. Dirty jokes are too violent and harsh for our target audience and it is even more so with women with breasts. But we will just add in TWERKING to relate to some of the adults."

- "By modernising the setting and dialogue, we will make it more timeless. This will age much better than the original because it will have MEMES! And SMARTPHONES! And MODERN DAY SLANGS! And SOCIAL MEDIA SITES! Everything the original didn't have, we will add in and it will be more timeless!"

- "By changing the source material, it shows how much we want to take something old and make it even better. The original is crappy because it is a bad influence on its target audience and it does not have any popular trends of its time thrown in. This will be the complete opposite, because we have everything good about this decade thrown in, and kids will be MUCH more fond of the reboot than the original because of what we have done. No violence, no immature jokes, nothing adult. Memes, kid-friendly white noise, twerking, smartphones, slangs and social media sites. Perfect!"

The reality they are denying:

- Having no violence or dirty humour makes it more boring, immature and kid-friendly. The original series was actually very mature and thoughtful with its adult humour, even if it was only noticed by the adults. Ms. Bellum was written as a normal person, not a sex symbol. Kids look at her and see a person, while only the adults find the body distinctive. Twerking is a really bad excuse for humour - it is targeted only at adults, and putting it in a kids' show will get you into huge trouble.

- Modernising the setting and dialogue will make your show more out-of-date. 2010s trends will be obsolete in a few years, and all the memes thrown into the reboot are already beyond old. The original series will age well because it used dialogue that was relevant at its time, is relevant today, and will still be relevant in years to come. The reboot will grow old because although its use of dialogue is only relevant today, 20 years from now, no one will be saying that kind of stuff anymore. Everything that the writers add to the show will no longer be part of popular trends before they know it.

- By changing the source material, it shows how much you don't respect what is already perfect about it. The original actually feels like it was genuinely made by a group of people who were passionate about making a cartoon. The reboot, on the other hand, has lazy writers who just want to throw everything wrong about the 2010s into the source material for the sake of making a profit. The original series is a great influence on kids, because it tells them how to not let anything get to them, be proud of themselves, and be independent. The reboot tells them how to be overreactive, be frustrated with themselves, and be dependent. The original will be remembered for many years from now, even after the reboot, because it is well-made, inspirational, powerful, timeless and thought-provoking. The reboot will be forgotten before long because of how lazy, pandering, generic and messy it is. It would be just fine if the reboot writers were actually as enthusiastic as the writers for the original series and if the reboot itself did not have all that stupid pigcrap about the 2010s thrown into it just out of laziness.
