<p>Here's the problems with the reboot: </p><p>The girls keep getting captured when just some simple, quick thinking can free them. Trapped by snakes? Use just enough super strength to push the snakes off without killing them. Tied up by rope...it's rope, they can just spread their arms and get untied. </p><p>The writing is predictable and sometimes kinda lazy. Oh the alien we just found out can shapeshift is Bliss' boyfriend how...seen before. There's something the girls need to use their powers for, the ones we know aren't one offs? Not if it complicates the plot! </p><p>The action is so boring, yeah kids are watching but kids need to be exposed to serious topics and to "scary" scenes because it's the only way they'll learn to deal with this stuff because apparently the gosh darn parents of this era don't want to talk about anything to their kids. </p><p>

The original had problems, heck it had bad episodes however the writing was normally clever and with the not one off powers there were reasons for them to not work. </p>

<p>Haven't kept up with it, last I heard it wasn't doing too well. I think it'll end in a season or two. </p>

<p>True, still some buildup would've been nice. Maybe a hint that Allegro wouldn't last? Also, why wasn't Bubbles affected by the rain? Blossom and Buttercup were fighting so I guess that's alright but was Bubbles not affected because she's the happiest person alive or something? </p>

<p>This episode wasn't bad but if this was Allegro's final appearance they didn't hint at this episode very much. This whole thing just felt like a random goodbye to him. I get that he wasn't a good character but a proper goodbye to Allegro would've been a multiple part episode that explained his story and ended with him becoming the Cosmic Bear. This feels so sudden because we don't even know who Cosmic Bear is like why is he cosmic? </p>

<p>You know this one was actually pretty good, and I can relate in a way. Sometimes I just feel down, usually it's mostly feelings of nostalgia but still. Good job writers. </p>

<p>Cons: </p><p>The stories are usually very easy to predict </p><p>The girls have become expies of their former selves: Buttercup's a jerkish tomboy, Blossom is a germaphobe, and Bubbles is unstable. </p><p>Sarah Bellum is gone </p><p>Manboy, I hate all things Manboy. I even like Allegro more than him. </p><p>The memes </p><p>Some story elements don't make sense like why did the marshmallow goo turn plastic into a monster? </p><p>The old villains besides HIM and sometimes Mojo Jojo are never around, I miss them </p><p>I don't mind when superhero shows take a break from the action, in fact I love the family moments the most in most other shows but the reboot doesn't have much if any action. Balance is important </p><p>Girl power, yeah girl power's important but they just don't do it right. In the original the girls being girls hardly contributed to the plot. Here that's the big selling point. </p><p>Pros: </p><p>Story arcs, despite my long list of cons the little story arcs allow the scale to even out. Like this is the reboot's one strength, the original had some story arcs but the writers were more interested in making fun one offs with some callbacks. The reboot is oozing with continuity </p>

<p>It goes deeper than those things though they are large parts of the problem. The show claims that it wants to show off girl power but it does it in the worst way possible: </p><p>1. It makes the girls weak, they rarely solve problems with their brains and powers that aren't laser eyes/punching/energy powers. The heroes usually have to be saved by someone else. </p><p>2. They got rid of perhaps the most important female character on the show besides the girls, Miss Belum, because the writers claimed that she was a female steryotype then in the same episode she left the writers introduced a female steryotype. </p><p>3. They replaced most of the original female voice actresses while keeping the original male voice actresses which gives off some...implications to some people. </p>

<p>Y'know what's funny? I imagined that Bubbles would get psychic powers (in her case telepathy) a couple years ago and here's Bliss with telekinesis and the first of her sisters she met was Bubbles </p>

Maybe Me did at one point exist...maybe one day Me got separated from Bliss and HIM struck...maybe Me was just a shapeshifting elephant once upon a time

<p>Good plot twist with Me, didn't connect the dots until Me turned into the butterfly. Still don't know how to feel about Bliss, she's so strong yet she didn't save the day alone. Also, I completely forgot that Mojo Jojo was the Professor's lab assistant. </p>
