All right, Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice Time again. It's time to review the 10th anniversary special, The Powerpuff Girls Rule. Even though it aired after the show ended in 2005, it's not really an episode of the show, it's just a reunion special. Everyone from the show reprised their roles and the creator of the show Craig McCracken came back to be the director of the special. Even though the animation system is different than the TV show which is Adobe Flash, the crew did a really good job to recapture the animation quality of the TV show. At first, it starts with Mojo Jojo try to take over Townsville once again, only for the girls to stop him again. He gets arrested again and this leads to Mojo singing a song about wanting to take over the world. After that, there is a special key that came in Townsville somewhere and it says that whoever finds the key and owns it can rule over the world. When we find out that the mayor lost the key, it immediately becomes an action-packed sequence of the Powerpuff Girls and the villains trying to find the key. One moment, they found out that the mayor actually didn't lost the key and is still safe in his office, because the mayor is the mayor. However, the bad guys overheard this and this leads to a Wacky Races style race. When the girls found the key before Mojo Jojo, he decides to retire. This leads to the girls fighting over which one keeps the key to take over the world and they and the other villains cause chaos. And then, they realized what they are doing and apologize for it and give the key back to the mayor, but Mojo Jojo overhears this and quickly steals the key. This is the moment where his dream comes true to finally take over the world. But then, in a truly unexpected twist, he actually makes the world a better place into a peaceful world we all wish we have now. Yeah, i didn't see that coming either when i first saw it. After all of this, when it seems that Mojo Jojo is truly a good guy and that peace has finally come, he quickly turns evil again and everything goes back to normal. Overall, this special is incredible, it's well-written, it's action-packed, it's hilarious and all of the characters are at their greatest and funniest. It's worth watching for all Cartoon Network fans, Powerpuff Girls fans and animation and cartoon fans in general.
