Powerpuff Girls British Dub?

A British dub of the show supposedly aired on Channel 5 (which is now owned by Viacom, who owns Cartoon Network's rival channel Nickelodeon)'s block for preschoolers. The video games based on the series were also said to be redubbed with UK voice actors just like with Thomas & Friends when that show has both US and UK dubs. Jo Wyatt, the British voice of Buttercup, has included a small voice clip as part of her demo reel . Existence has been confirmed of this dub, by people from the UK who used to watch it on Channel 5's Milkshake! strand. They then showed the original US version, after people emailed in asking why the voices were different on Cartoon Network.

I watched Powerpuff girls regularly on Channel 5. They played the original US versions. If they DID dub it, they still used American accents, cause those accents were all I heard when watching it. Its unlikely they would spend money to reduce the voices with no accent changes, as Channel 5 is commonly known as a cheap Channel, a running joke in the UK.

I'm fairly convinced that a UK dub of PowerPoint girls never existed, and that the rumour would likely have spread from someone asking if the release was dubbed because of its placement on a UK station that someone confirmed as a joke.

What do you think?
